| Description | This course blends software engineering principles with educational practices. It equips students with skills in database systems, web programming, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and animation. The program also explores instructional design, assessment in education, and courseware development. Students learn about the psychological aspects of computing, discrete structures, probability, statistical data analysis, and numerical methods. Crucially, the curriculum covers software project and configuration management, computer architecture, networks, and operating systems. | Entry Requirements | Academic qualifications of Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (Higher School Leaving Certificate – HSC) or Diploma recognized by the Malaysian Government or equivalent: a. A pass in the ‘A’ Level examination or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C in any three (3) subjects ;or b. A pass in the Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate (at least 12 years duration of studies (6+3+3)) or according the qualification list for MQA international students;or c. A Diploma or other equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) deemed to be of equivalent standing from the Malaysian Government and approved by the UPSI Senate; d. A pass in the ‘O’ Level examination or its equivalent; AND Applicants must have good grades with an overall average of 80% (including 80% or more in Mathematics and two (2) Science subjects). |
