The Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh offers Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh either by coursework and research or by research only, and the student could either register on a full-time or part-time basis. Within a few years upon successfully completing the program, our graduates will be practitioners in Islamic Jurisprudence who able to analyse and evaluate major issues and practices using the knowledge, understanding and practical skills of Islamic principles, contribute responsibly to society ethically and professionally in cognizance with the current knowledge, Lead Islamic initiative in institutions and industries locally and globally with effective communication skills AND manage religion-related activities and promote entrepreneurial spirits. |

| Entry Requirements |
Bachelor's degree from IIUM or any other certificate recognised by Senate as equivalent to the degree. CGPA of 2.75/4.00 and above in a related field or CGPA less than 2.75 but possess relevant working experience in the field applied. |

Score at least Band 6 on the IIUM English Placement Test (EPT). You can also demonstrate your English proficiency by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). |
