Description | Master of Sustainability and Environment Sciences (Joint Degree) is the Joint Degree Program (JDP) that develops experts who would contribute to solve the complicated global issues, especially tropical Asia by sustainable and environmental sciences, through the jointly supervised system that takes advantage of the strength of the two universities; Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and University of Tsukuba (UT), Japan. Uniqueness: This program is conducted with full support and cooperation from University of Tsukuba (UT). The need of cooperation is for transferring the knowledge and technology in sustainability management and environmental sciences. Justification for election is made because UT is one of the best young and top 50 university endorsed by MEXT Japan. Besides that, UT has all the specialize skills needed in Environmental Sciences which focus on the global issues such as changes in natural surroundings, changes in weather, safety of food and how these issues could be exploited to guarantee the sustainability of the global community. |
