| Description | The food industry is one the fastest growing industries in the world. Its growth with reference to export market needs a high level of technology and exceptionally trained individuals to apply that technology. UMT offers MS Food Technology Program which is designed to provide diverse and challenging careers and professional training to all those working in food industry and other science fields. It is a research-based program which covers the integrative disciplines of food science and food technology. At UMT, students gain a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge within fields of food science and food technology in accordance with the recommendations and prerequisites put forth by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. Graduates are able to enhance their leadership, research and problem-solving skills in response to the global challenges related to food processing, food safety and quality, and innovative product development techniques through highly comprehensive and specialized courses, and research-based case studies. |
