| Description | Adequate research facilities, teaching classes and laboratories are available for general and specific use including up-to-date equipments to accommodate postgraduate learning needs. Other than strengthening Kulliyyah research efforts, this will also cater for the students who have great passion and determination to do research work and participate in intellectual activities. Kulliyyah targets would be personnel who are engaged in research and development in industries and research institutes as well as bachelor degree holders with good academic background. The focus of study leading towards a Masters of Health Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy field will be research based with some input of courses such as Research Methodology and Islamic Values |

| Entry Requirements | A relevant Bachelor’s Degree (honours) with good grades from the IIUM or any other accredited Institution of higher learning; Note: Preference will be given to applicants having a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA 2.75 or its equivalent. Or Any other certificate that is recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (honours) or other relevant professional qualifications and experience that are recognized by the Senate of the University. And A suitable research proposal is required for Master applicants. |
| English Requirement | Depending on the programme of study, instruction at IIUM is carried in English and/or Arabic. Applicants wishing to pursue studies in programmes taught in English must obtain: A score of 550 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 6.5 points in the test administrated by the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) If they do not have either of these qualifications, applicants may sit for the IIUM-administered English Placement Test (EPT), in which they must obtain at least 6.5 points to fulfill the requirement. |
